When energy demand increases, the body uses the creatine and phosphocreatine system to rapidly regenerate ATP. This system acts as an immediate energy reserve, which is especially important in tissues subjected to rapid changes in their energy needs 1,2 (Wallimann et al., 2011; Kreider et al., 2017).
That is why at CREATIVA we have not chosen a single raw material, but rather we combine Clonapure® and Creatine MagnaPower®, two complementary ways of approaching this same energy system.
Clonapure® brings together creatine monohydrate, phosphocreatine, and phosphate in a patented composition. Creatine MagnaPower®, for its part, integrates creatine and magnesium in a single chelated structure. The result is a formula that combines the benefits of creatine and magnesium in one product: performance in short, high-intensity efforts, muscle function, energy metabolism, electrolyte balance, and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Creatine monohydrate is the most studied and used form of this nutrient. Clonapure® starts from that base but combines it with phosphocreatine and phosphate using proprietary technology.
Phosphocreatine is part of the system that the muscle uses to regenerate ATP during high-intensity efforts. According to its manufacturer, bringing these three components together allows for a stable raw material and for acting on different elements of this energy system. It is not simply about adding more creatine, but about expanding the composition around its active form and its relationship with ATP 3 (Tradichem Group, n.d.)
CREATIVA also incorporates Creatine MagnaPower®, a patented form in which creatine is bound to magnesium through chelation. This raw material has been developed by Albion Minerals®, one of the international benchmarks in the study and production of chelated minerals, with more than six decades of experience.
Its technology makes it possible to bring together in a raw material with a controlled composition two nutrients closely related to performance and energy. Creatine participates in the rapid regeneration of ATP, while magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism, muscle function, and electrolyte balance.
In this way, MagnaPower® does not simply provide creatine accompanied by magnesium: it integrates both nutrients and brings them together within a defined structure and of controlled composition through Albion®'s experience in mineral chelation 4 (Balchem Corporation, n.d.)
Creatine magnesium chelate has also been studied in the sports field. In a study conducted with elite soccer players, its consumption for 16 weeks was associated with improvements in a repeated sprint test 5 (Zajac et al., 2020).
Instead of having to choose between different forms of creatine, CREATIVA integrates them. Clonapure® provides creatine monohydrate together with phosphocreatine and phosphate, while Creatine MagnaPower® incorporates creatine chelated with magnesium.
Two different technologies that share the same purpose: to provide creatine precisely and accompany it with other components linked to our body's energy system.
